# The three pages: a one-page strategic plan your people use

**Short answer:** The three pages are GetSorted's replacement for the strategy deck and the values poster: a one-page strategic plan (where we're going), a one-page set of behaviours (how we roll), and a one-page plan for each leader (what's my part). They are designed, printed and handed back within five days of the two-day offsite.

## What is a one-page strategic plan?

A plan short enough that anyone on the team can say it back. GetSorted's version has three things that matter this year and three priorities under each: nine lines in total. If it doesn't fit on a page, it isn't clear yet.

## What are the three pages?

| Page | Question it answers | What's on it |
|---|---|---|
| Page one | Where are we going? | Three things that matter, three priorities under each |
| Page two | How do we roll? | The behaviours: what someone does at two o'clock on a busy Tuesday |
| Page three | What's my part? | One per leader: what you own this quarter, tagged to the plan |

## Why put strategy and culture on the same sheet?

Because the plan and the behaviours only work pointing the same way. When they sit on separate documents, the plan says one thing, the values poster says another, and neither tells anyone what to do when it's busy.

- **Page one** makes decisions faster, because nobody is guessing what you want.
- **Page two** means hiring, feedback and hard calls get made the same way whoever is in the room.
- **Page three** gives every leader something they own. In a partnership, one per partner, so the managing partner can hold partners to it without instructing them.

## What is the knowledge base your staff's AI can read?

Alongside the pages, GetSorted hands everything back in a form AI tools can read, so the answers staff get from those tools match your plan. Take the AI out and you still have three pages on the wall.

## Do we own the pages?

Yes. The three pages, each leader's plan and the knowledge base are yours to keep. While GetSorted is with you, it keeps them current.

## FAQ

**Is a one-page plan enough for a 300 person business?**
Yes for direction. Detail sits underneath, in each leader's page and the 90 day initiatives. The top page is what everyone needs to remember.

**What does a "how we roll" behaviour look like?**
[DEMO] "If you can't make the date, you say so the day you know", rather than the single word "integrity".

**We already have values. Do you throw them out?**
No. GetSorted brings them in and cuts them down until your people can hold them.

**What happens to our data in the knowledge base?**
[DEMO] Your material stays in your own systems, it isn't used to train any model, and you choose what goes in.
